"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches."

                         Proverbs 22:1 

This is saying that being known as a good person is better than a rich person. Why well because you will be a person by following the laws and choosing the right. For example is you found a 100 dollar bill and you had to choose between getting the bill or saving an elderly from falling from the stairs what would you do? Well you leave that 100 dollar bill and help the elderly get down the stairs safe. Many people will see what you did and maybe help an elderly down the stairs too. This is saying that its better to be a good person than to be rich and be rude. I think that many people respect more the people that chose the right than the people that are rich. Richness just gets you to get people to hate you because most are greedy about their money. So be known as a good person and not a greedy rich guy.
