This quote means that you need to do what others want you to do in order to do what you want. For example if you want to go out with you friends you will need to do the chores your mom told you to do first . Once again you have to OBEY to win things . You need to earn your freedom by obedience. This reflects on me be I need to do good in school if i want to go out with my friends or even go to a soccer game. Obedience leads to freedom, gifts and maybe even a little surprise too. My opinion would be that this quote is true. Because you will earn freedom when you are obedient.
