This quote is saying that you either chose to be successful of not. Successful can be either a good thing or a bad in your life. Success is not just i want to succeed and there, you have to fight and sometimes even sacrafice to be successful in life. For example the argentine player was very successful but he had to make a sacrafice to become even more succesful. He left Argentina at age 13, he had to make new friends, new school and why because he wanted to play soccer and be successful in it. Another example is when a student graduates high school and is ready to go to College or US. That student can decide to go to school and keep studying or since his parents are going to be around he will go out late and part. Either or will affect his future. You will decide your future with the decisions you decide to make.
