and Responsibilities: an
ear nose
and throat specialist is called an Otolaryngologist. They are physicians that are
trained in the medical and surgical diseases and disorders of the ear, nose,
throat and related structures of the head and neck. In the Ears they are
trained to treat hearing loss, ear infection, balance disorders, ear noise,
& some cranial disorders. They treat the nose by checking allergies, smell
disorders, polyps, and nasal obstruction. They check the throat, by treating
disease in the throat, larynx, and the esophagus.
Salary: $237,788 - $339,312
Education:
Medical degree,
Residency training, undergraduate degree.
Reflection: I would not like to become one because it you are just going
to cure three things that I really don’t like.
